Overview

Welcome to Paper Banana, available at paperbanana.dev. These Terms govern your access to our AI academic drawing tools, including paper figure generation, research diagram generation, image editing, video explainers, credits, subscriptions, and related services.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction, and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate account information, password security, and all activity under your account.

Service Description

Paper Banana uses generative AI systems to create academic visuals from prompts, references, and settings you provide. Outputs may vary. Features, models, pricing, limits, and availability may change as the service evolves. You are responsible for reviewing generated figures before using them in papers, reports, presentations, grant proposals, teaching materials, or commercial projects.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Paper Banana to violate laws, infringe third-party rights, mislead others, attack the service, bypass limits, harvest data, upload malware, or generate content you are not authorized to use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Content Rights

You retain ownership of prompts, references, and materials you submit. You grant Paper Banana the rights needed to host, process, display, reproduce, and modify that content only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. Subject to these Terms and third-party rights, paid users may use generated outputs for personal, educational, research, and commercial purposes.

Academic Accuracy

Paper Banana is a creative and productivity tool, not a scientific validation service. Generated labels, structures, diagrams, or explanations may contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking scientific accuracy, citations, permissions, and publication requirements.

Billing and Credits

Prices are shown at checkout in USD unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. One-time credit packs do not renew automatically. Credits, plan limits, and promotional offers are governed by the terms shown at purchase. Except as required by law, processed payments are non-refundable. Payments are processed by third-party providers.

No Warranties

Paper Banana is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free outputs, suitability for a specific publication, long-term storage of generated assets, or that generated content will be accepted by any journal, conference, institution, or platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Paper Banana is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or lost business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of 100 USD or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Paper Banana at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, nonpayment, security risk, or prolonged inactivity. Some data may be retained as required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Changes

We may update these Terms as Paper Banana evolves. Material changes may be announced by email or on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
